I don’t quite understand why this is getting so much support from the Tumblr community. It wasn’t long ago that Tumblr engaged in internet protest against censorship, which actively involved nearly 90,000 people. However, when it is the Tumlr staff who decides to censor content, rather than the US government, the censorship applauded. In the words of Noam Chomsky: “If we don’t believe in for people we despise, we don’t believe in it at all.”
